Fighter Jet Falls Into the Sea from USS Harry S. Truman

Navy Jet Lost at Sea, No Serious Injuries

Luckily, the people in the jet and the small vehicle towing it jumped out just in time and were not seriously hurt. One sailor got a small injury. The Navy said they lost control of the jet and the towing vehicle, so both fell into the sea. The jet is very expensive, costing about $60 million. Losing the jet and the towing vehicle is a big problem for the ship.

Second us navy jet is lost at sea from truman aircraft carrier.

The USS Harry S. Truman has been working hard for a long time, fighting against the Houthi group. The crew is very tired because of the nonstop work, and this can cause mistakes and accidents. There were reports that the ship made a quick move to avoid an attack when the jet was being moved.

Such sudden moves can make it hard to control things on the ship. The Navy called this an “evasive maneuver,” which might explain why they lost control of the jet. The Navy is looking into what happened. Getting the jet back from the bottom of the Red Sea is very hard because the water is deep and the area is dangerous due to fighting.

They might try to find the jet later, but not right now. Even though the jet and towing vehicle were lost, it’s good news that no one was seriously hurt or killed. The Navy is working in a tough place and trying to keep everyone safe while doing their job.
