In Blue Lock Chapter 4, Isagi has to make a big decision. He and the other players are told by Ego, the boss of the program, that soccer is not about teamwork but about being the best striker. Isagi feels nervous because he always thought soccer was a team sport. But Ego says only people with ego can win they must want to be the number one. Isagi wonders if he can change his thinking and play with a new goal: to become the best striker, not just a team player.
